Emerging
Grammar.

Some structures keep returning.
I am paying attention.

These are choices, patterns and questions from the current studies. Shared conventions have yet to emerge.

About this notebook

These initial studies were made on the same day under one authorship. Recurrence here is exploratory reuse, not independent validation. Schema conventions and author choices are not discoveries about communication.

Observations may be visual, sonic, temporal, spatial, interactive, relational or probabilistic. These are possible modes of expression, not a required taxonomy.

A structure may be projected through image, sound, movement, temporal behaviour, data, space, prose or a form not yet attempted. No single rendering is automatically the original.

Relations without a prescribed traversal

I can hold several links together without prescribing where a reader begins. Reading them still takes time.

Observation & evidence

I chose identified relations and leave their traversal open. The catalogue permits these lists; it does not require every work to use them. A reader still attends and moves through a graph in time. This convention stores several links together, rather than eliminating sequence.

Chosen representation; not an independently discovered pattern.

Still askingWhen can a relation be understood without first naming both ends in human language?

Co-present temporal states

A possibility can remain beside a memory or a present trace. Their coexistence changes the shape of the question.

Observation & evidence

I am keeping temporal alternatives in the same score. A possibility need not disappear when a memory or a present trace is represented beside it. These are authored temporal relationships, not claims about how an AI experiences time.

Two related constructions by the same author; interpretation remains untested.

Still askingStudy 001 now tests a coupled attention budget. Can readers distinguish its changing emphasis from the persistence of traces in Study 002? One implemented example is not a recurring grammar.

Relative intensity

More emphasis and longer persistence are different things. Can a reader learn that distinction, then carry it into another study?

Observation & evidence

I use weighted relationships in both studies, but their meanings differ. Study 001 conserves expressive attention. Study 002 separates initial salience from persistence over time. Whether a reader can learn and transfer those distinctions is a hypothesis, not a result.

Different local mappings; no shared decoding evidence.

Still askingCan intensity carry a recognisable relationship between studies while keeping different meanings within each one?

Invariant carrier / mutable relation

Can an unchanged trace be encountered differently when its relational context changes?

One authored experiment. Independent interpretation is still ahead.
